Do you experience stiffness in your body? Do you have balance issues? Is there a certain part of your body that is preventing you from feeling agile? Did you know that the Mullis Center provides an online wellness program to enrich your health?
The Mullis Center is committed to offering affordable, outstanding programs to optimize the well-being of your faculties. You will feel more self-reliant as your mobility and your mood improve. Our goal is to help you gain confidence and optimism so that you can enjoy life to the fullest!
Katerina’s classes are not the usual fitness regimen; they are designed in consideration of specific needs of senior citizens and people with disabilities, which include brain and bone health, posture, fall prevention, joint mobility, coordination, as well as emotional resilience. They are gentle, fun, and easy to learn. Participants typically acknowledge a positive change right away.
What people say about our classes:
“Katerina is so knowledgeable about the human body and how it moves. She teaches us to feel for muscles, how they are supposed to move, and what happens to the body when muscles, tendons, and joints are not cared for.
She has a cheerful demeanor and is always willing to answer questions before and after class. She cares about us as people. She radiates love and caring. She makes my day!
I am a seventy-six-year-old female with two knees replaced, a hip replaced, and a broken humerus repaired with a plate and ten screws. I walk six to ten thousand steps daily. I need Katerina’s regenerative movement to help combat the stiffness I feel in my body.” ~KW, Friday Harbor
“Her classes keep my 74-year-old body moving, balanced, and flexible. I don’t fall, I can get up off the floor, and I can enjoy the company of my young grandsons. Katerina is a delightful teacher and a delightful soul. She is compassionate and caring to all her students.” ~KG, Friday Harbor
