Tired of the short days and dreary weather? Why not purchase a good book, or two, to pass the time with? Join the Mullis Senior Community Center at 589 Nash Street in Friday Harbor on Friday, Jan. 19 from 7-9 p.m. to meet some talented local authors and learn about their works. Signed copies of their books will be available for purchase. Authors attending include Janet Dann (“The Good Neighbors” trilogy), John Geyman (author of multiple books on the U.S. healthcare industry), Theresa Mathews (“Fishing With Hyenas”), and Susan Wingate (numerous books including “The Wild Wood” trilogy and the “Bobby Diner” series).

Interested in publishing your own book? Bruce Conway, a local self-publishing expert, will also be there to answer any questions you may have.

Crackers and cheese, cookies, tea and coffee will be provided and wine will be available for purchase.
