The next Know Your Island Walk is from 1 to 4 p.m., Saturday, Aug. 26 at the Friday Harbor pathways. Meet at the San Juan County Fairgrounds.

Tim Dustrude, town resident, photographer and editor, will lead us through some of the neighborhood pathways in downtown Friday Harbor. Dustrude walks and bikes whenever he can and will tell us about his passion for making Friday Harbor a more walkable place.

The distance is three to five miles, but anyone can opt out if the full route is too long. Rating: Easy, sidewalks and paths. Dogs on leashes are welcomed.
