It’s time to register for Island Rec’s girls’ basketball league, open to all girls in third through eighth grade. The focus of this league is development and improvement of individual and team skills. Previous basketball experience is not required. All games are played on island, Sunday afternoons, in the Turnbull Gym. Participants practice twice a week beginning the week of Jan. 16.

Register at www.islandrec.org or stop by the Island Rec office. If registered by Jan. 4, the cost is $40 and $45 thereafter. The final deadline to register is Jan. 10.
