Help IslandRides provide transportation to islanders in need!

IslandRides provides free transportation to errands, on- and off-island medical appointments, and other community services for islanders in need including seniors, disabled clients and others who don’t drive. As demand for our service continues to grow, we need to install two new electric vehicle chargers at the Mullis Center to help keep our electric vehicles charged. These chargers will also be available for Mullis Center programs and clientele use. We are seeking to raise $5000 towards purchase and installation of the chargers during the San Juan Island Community Foundation County Fair Giving Campaign. SJICF will match the first $1000 raised by IslandRides between Aug. 16-19.

There are four ways you can donate to this fundraiser between Aug. 16-19:

• Online – Visit the SJICF website at www.sjicf.org or click on the IslandRides direct donation link at https://sjicf.fcsuite.com/erp/donate/create/grant?grant_id=13289.

• By Phone – Call SJICF at 360-378-1001 and make a donation to IslandRides.

• By Check – Make check payable to “SJICF” and put “IslandRides” in the memo line. Date check between Aug. 16-19. Mail to: SJICF, PO Box 1352, Friday Harbor, WA 98250 or drop off at the SJICF Fair Booth, or at the SJICF office at 640 Mullis Street, Suite 104.

• In-person at the Fair – Visit the SJICF Fair Booth and make a donation to IslandRides.
