The 2017 Friday Harbor Film Festival programs have arrived. At 56 pages, it is by far the most comprehensive program to date, which is a perfect way to celebrate the festival’s fifth year. Staff owes a very special thanks to the tireless efforts of Program Coordinator Ellen Roberts.
Also, staff owes a very special thanks to the tireless efforts of Program Coordinator Ellen Roberts, as well as a special thanks to all the advertisers who made this program possible. The 2017 program will be distributed throughout the Puget Sound ferry system and selected locations in Seattle, Bellingham and Port Townsend for the next 2 months.
The 2017 programs can be found at the Friday Harbor Film Festival office on the corner of First and West, plus, we will also stock the racks outside. If you have a location you want to share the programs, call or stop and grab a bunch.
You can start planning which films to see. For 2017 we have 32 films and 15 shorts screening at six venues, all with in an easy walk from the ferry. Films will be viewed at the San Juan Community Theater (Whittier and Gubelman), the Grange, Isle Seat, (next to 2nd Act), the Brickworks and the Palace Theater.
Also, FHFF’s new website will launch by Sept. 1 with all the film trailers and more information at www.fhff.org. The page will also include a volunteer registration; it’s time to plan when to sign up for the films you want to be sure to not miss!
If you are out of town, just send FHFF staff your mailing address and a program can be mailed.
See you at the movies!
