Fish for Teeth ‘Taco Attack’comes to Brickworks

Fish for Teeth is pleased to announce our Fish Taco Fundraiser is returning to Friday Harbor on Friday, Nov. 15 from 11 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. The “Taco Attack” will be set up in the Brickworks plaza in downtown Friday Harbor. Each taco is $9.00, and all proceeds benefit Fish for Teeth and the Community Dental Clinic it sponsors in Friday Harbor, four times a year.

These tacos are more like burritos, made with a large flour (or corn) tortilla, a generous portion of sustainably-harvested Washington-coastal rockfish, Tillamook cheese, premium salsa, crispy greens, and topped off with a squeeze of lime… all this creates a classic Fish for Teeth, made-with-love Fish Taco that will satisfy the healthiest appetite.

2024 is the first year of our Community Dental Clinic, serving the dental needs of those on San Juan Island who cannot otherwise afford dental care (we’ve previously sponsored the mobile dental van since 2012). Over 100 people were served in 2024, with over $80,000 in dental services provided by local volunteer dental professionals.

Fish for Teeth is a 100% volunteer organization, from top to bottom. This Fish Taco fundraiser is our main fundraising effort, and we do our best to make these fish “burritos” so delicious that you’re glad you showed up to support our mission. To date, Fish for Teeth dental clinics have helped hundreds of San Juan Island (and also SJ County) residents have healthier and happier mouths, all because of the support of our community. YOU enjoying a Fish Taco makes all of these wonderful things possible!

This fundraiser alone does not provide enough funding to support our mission, so direct contributions from caring community members have always closed the funding gap and made our programs possible.
