American Pickers’ quest for hidden treasure is taking them all the way to the San Juan Islands.

Mike Wolfe and Frank Fritz are returning to Washington state in September to film episodes of their History Channel series that explores the world of antique “picking.”

“We would love to see if anyone in the island communities has a collection or items that would fit well with the show,” said Casting Associate Natasha Moore.

Wolfe and Fritz, who hunt for valuable antiques across the country, resell the finds at their stores in Iowa and Tennessee as well as online. The duo delves into dusty storage sheds and barns piled high with collectibles, buying everything from toys to motorcycles. And rust is never an obstacle.

Moore says the show’s stars only pick private collections and do not frequent shops, malls, flea markets, museums, auctions, businesses or anything open to the public. They are looking for “extraordinary items with fascinating tales” behind them. Wolfe and Fritz are known for their love of meeting new people, learning about America’s past and reinvigorating historically significant items.
