San Juan Island Grange #966 presents a program on salt at the Grange Hall, Wednesday, May 22. The program begins at 7 p.m., preceded by a potluck at 6 pm.
Brady Ryan of San Juan Island Sea Salt will discuss some of the fascinating aspects of the only rock we eat – how it is produced, artisan manufacturing techniques, and the history and science of salt. Brady will also outline their business, how it came about, and what niche it is seeking to hold. The program includes a chance to taste-test some salt as well.
