Don’t miss the second half of the spring Family Art Days series. Free materials and instruction are provided on Saturdays, 1-5 p.m., at the San Juan Islands Museum of Art. Children along with their family members are encouraged to drop by to create, learn and have fun during the following art workshops:

May 11: Make cards or other artistic creations in celebration of your mother.

May 18: Paint or draw your favorite means of transportation, from ferries to horses.

May 25: Design your family tree and crest, using collage and scrapbooking techniques.

June 1: Make a 3D world tree with metallic poster board and other exciting materials.

June 8: Turn recyclables into treasures: create periscopes out of cracker boxes, etc.
