Erika Jean Davis Coffey

A memorial service will be held May 7, 2 p.m., at the Church of the Nazarene in Lynden for Erika Jean Coffey, granddaughter of the late Clyde and Ruth Sundstrom, who was killed in a vehicle collision April 24 in Florida.
She was 29.
A graduate of Meridian High School and Central Washington University, Erika taught and worked in elementary education for several years. She was actively involved with Training Squadron Eighty-Six (VT-86) spouse’s group, raising funds for local and national charities. She and her family regularly attended Liberty Church in Pensacola.
She is survived by her husband, Robert Coffey; children, Andrew and James Coffey; mother, Sandy Sundstrom Davis; father, Al Davis and his wife Roberta; sisters, Kendall and Robyn Davis; grandmother, Acacia Lohrie; father- and mother-in-law, Ray and Linda Coffey; grandparents-in-law, Mary and Laurel Martinsen; and many other family members and friends, whom she dearly loved.
“They were a lovely couple,” her uncle, Guard Sundstrom, said. “Their military friends, their church friends, and their own little family were very important to her.”
Memorial service in Florida is today, 3 p.m. at Liberty Church, with Pastor Buford Lipscomb officiating. The family will receive friends at the church from 1:30-3 p.m. Faith Chapel Funeral Home, 100 Beverly Parkway, Pensacola, is in charge of arrangements.
