This summer, San Juan Community Theatre is screening a curated selection of international and independent feature films on the big screen in the Whittier Theatre. The film series kicks off on Tuesday, July 12 with Kurt Vonnegut: Unstuck in Time, a compelling tribute to the author with a close look at his life from childhood to superstardom. The following Tuesday, July 19, Tel Aviv is Burning is a comedy-drama satire directed by Palestinian Israeli filmmaker, Sameh Zoabi. The series continues every Tuesday evening at 7 p.m. through Aug. 30. Admission is pay-what-you-can at the door.
