Mark your calendars! San Juan Island’s 31st Annual Children’s Festival is happening Saturday, May 20 at Linde Park! We are pleased to announce this year’s theme: Through The Forest

Island Rec needs your help to design the poster for this year’s Children’s Festival! Kids of all ages are invited to submit poster designs that incorporate Through the Forest into their artwork.

Artworks must be submitted on an official entry form. Entry forms are available at Island Rec’s office inside or in the folder outside the door, at the San Juan Library, or at Friday Harbor Elementary School. Poster designs must be returned to Island Rec, 580 Guard Street, by March 24 to be considered by our contest judges. The winner will have their design printed on this year’s event poster and win a prize. There will also be two runner-up prizes given for the committee’s top choices in poster design.
