The presentation begins at 7:30 p.m., at XYZ Studio, located at Airport Center, above Ravenhill Construction.

Known to many as a teacher of Direct Mind Perception Meditation, Lama Lena travels and teaches in an informal style that is humorous and anecdotal, appealing to students at all levels of interest in dharma practice and experience.

A licensed acupuncturist, she left a practice in the San Francisco Bay Area to return to Tso Pema, India, home of the Holy Caves of Guru Riinpoche and where previously she spent seven years in retreat, to assist Wangdor Rinpoche.

Lama Lena, who currently lives on a mountain above India’s Lotus Lake, provides medical assistance to the Tibetan refugee community and villagers when she’s not traveling, teaching or translating.
