San Juan Island Garden Club

The Northwest’s favorite radio and television gardening expert Ciscoe Morris will appear in Friday Harbor at Brickworks on Wednesday, April 3, at 7 p.m., courtesy of the San Juan Island Garden Club. He will talk about “Great Plants for Rain Shadow Gardening,” complete with photos, anecdotes, jokes, props and his always inimitable charm and enthusiasm. Friday Harbor Mayor and Garden Club member Farhad Ghatan will introduce Ciscoe.

Tickets are $15 and can be purchased at Griffin Bay Books, Ace Hardware, The Garden Center at Browne’s and at the Roche Harbor Grocery Store.

Proceeds will support the San Juan Island Garden Club sponsorship of the summer hanging baskets in downtown Friday Harbor, ongoing development of the Children’s Educational Vegetable Garden at the elementary school and many other gardening activities for our community.
