Join us at the Library on Wednesday, July 19 at 7 p.m. to welcome Skye Burn, granddaughter of June and Ferrar Burn, and celebrate the new seventh edition of Living High. This is the remarkable story of June & Farrar Burn, their trust in life and courage to be unconventional, and how it offers inspiration and a compass for today’s world. The new edition of Living High, June Burn’s unconventional autobiography, is now available in local bookstores. First published in 1941, Living High has remained in print through decades.
The new edition includes previously unseen photographs and an expanded epilogue by Skye Burn, June and Farrar’s granddaughter. Events have been scheduled in Bellingham and the San Juans to celebrate the new edition. The program will include readings from Living High, photographs, original recordings of Farrar’s songs, and an introduction to the June and Farrar Project. This event is hosted in partnership with Griffin Bay Bookstore.
