From 1:30 to 3:30 p.m., Saturday, Nov. 4, artists will talk about their works, materials they used, and their methods in the current exhibition “Rocky Outcroppings” at the San Juan Islands Museum of Art.
In addition to the sculptures and print work of Peterson and Behnke, the exhibit includes photographs by internationally known photographer Peter deLory, and forest paintings and drawings by Port of Olympia artist Kathy Gore Fuss.
Refreshments will be served in the atrium after the talk.
The event is free form museum members and those under 18. Admission charge for non-members is $10 or pay-what-you-can.
SJIMA is a completely-volunteer run, 501(c)3 nonprofit. All donations are tax deductible. An individual membership costs $45 and a family membership costs $95. Membership includes no admission charge to exhibits; a 10 percent discount in museum store; invitations to all exhibit openings; and free artists events and lectures.
