Writers from the monthly international publication Architectural Digest have picked Friday Harbor as the “prettiest town” in Washington state. The July 16 article lists staff’s picks for most beautiful towns in every U.S. state.

The Friday Harbor post reads “Blessed with delightfully damp weather on occasion but a nicer climate most of the time, Friday Harbor is part of the San Juan Islands, and located on San Juan Island itself. It’s accessible from Seattle via a seaplane or ferry.”
