The Friends of the San Juan Island Library members are having their annual book sale from 10 a.m.-4 p.m., Saturday, Aug. 4, at the library located at 1010 Guard St. This is their biggest fundraiser of the year, where tables are filled with books of many different genres. But it is not just a book sale. Other items for sale include jewelry and trinkets from the library’s Treasure Cove store, T-shirts, book bags and ice cream. There will also be a silent auction for two Townie bicycles. Enjoy great musical entertainment and possibly win a prize. All the proceeds from the sale support the many different library programs.
