This 2024 Fair season, Alchemy Art Center is one of 30 organizations featured in the San Juan Island Community Foundation’s Fair Giving Campaign! This year, Alchemy’s goal is to raise $8,500 towards the purchase of a dedicated vehicle to support the myriad activities they offer to the island community throughout the year. Alchemy runs 4-5 off-site activities every week during the summer, and staff currently use their own personal vehicles to transport necessary equipment and supplies (canopies, tables, chairs, art materials, etc.). An Alchemy Art-Mobile would cut down on staff loading and unloading time, be more reliable, and greatly streamline Alchemy’s many free community events and workshops.
“We are so grateful to be included in this wonderful fundraising opportunity provided by the Community Foundation! Funds raised through this program will go far in helping Alchemy continue to provide the quality programming our community loves!”
