In this new year, I would like to give thanks and applause to our Firehouse Thrift Store manager, Kathleen, and her wonderful staff.

You all do a job for us that is much needed and probably under appreciated, though I see so many of us islanders in and out of your doors. Treasures galore, good and honest pricing, and the best use of all of our island stuff being reused, recycled, and reloved.

Thank you for what you do. I think it is priceless.
