Larry Kalb is a candidate for Congress on the primary election ballot. For background, he has lived in Bellingham for 16 years, is active in several civic organizations, and his job is in the financial department of Whatcom Transportation Authority. An active Democrat, he has been a Washington state delegate to two national presidential nominating conventions.

Larry works for universal quality health care coverage for everyone and is currently president of Health Care for All Washington. In Congress, he will join the movement to change trade policies that encourage companies to dump American workers by the thousands and move their operations to other countries. We need the jobs here! Also, Larry will vote to eliminate unnecessary defense spending and waste, thus reducing the national budget deficit, saving the overstressed armed services, and improving international relations.
