The Friends of the San Juan Island Library wish to thank all who made our recent book sale a tremendous success, including the many patrons who came to purchase books. We wish to also thank Brownes Hardware for the loan of plywood; Kiwanis for donating funds to purchase ice cream; Sue Bamford for donating two Townie bikes, Seth at Meat Machine for donating inspections and tune ups for the bikes, and numerous loyal volunteers who gave their time; Nikki Ruggerio, Mary Will Allen, Erin Braybrook, Pete Dawson, Birgit Kriete, Raymond Hailey, SusieHendrix and library staff.

We enjoyed the entertainment provided the Ukulele Group featuring Sparkie the singing Shellie, Rob Simpson and Howard and Celina Wright. A special rave and thank you to the Friday Harbor Tiger football team, Kasey Anderson, coaches, parents and players for moving mountains of boxes of books with speed and enthusiasm!
