The San Juan Island Pride Foundation would like to say thank you to the community for their support with SJI Pride Festival that was held on June 17th. We also would like to again thank our 23 corporate sponsors, early private donors, and our 45 amazing volunteers that helped make SJI Pride 2023 happen. It was amazing to see all of the Islanders who came to show their Pride and love. Seeing the incredible amount of people there having such a great time filled our hearts. Also, it gave our LGBTQIA+ community a space to be who they are and safe with all of our allies there.

Because it is important to celebrate Pride all year long and not just in June, the SJIPF will continue to have our monthly meet-ups to encourage our queer community and allies to gather together and provide resources to our LGBTQIA+ community members. We will also be walking in the 4th of July Parade and we are hoping to be the largest group there so please join us if you are able. We are stronger together!

The San Juan Island Pride Foundation is already planning SJI Pride Festival 2024. It is going to be even bigger next year but we can’t do it without your help. If you would like to be on or even lead a volunteer committee, please go to sjipride.org to sign up. We cannot do it without you!
