Save the date: San Juan Island’s 2014 Great Island Clean-up is Saturday, April 5th.

Join multiple organizations, service clubs, school groups and individuals in this effort to “comb the tangled debris from our roadsides and beaches” and help our community meet spring clean and beautiful. Everyone is encouraged to pitch-in and clean around their neighborhoods and businesses.

Orcas Island also is getting their own Great Island Clean-up going this year; their contact is Kira Bradshaw, at 318-6041. Stay tuned for more buzz on this clean-up. See you April 5th. Thanks.
