I am writing to express my wholehearted support for Justin Paulsen’s candidacy for County Council. I have had the privilege of knowing Justin for the past seven years, and during this time, I have consistently witnessed his exemplary leadership and unwavering commitment to our community.
Justin has made significant contributions to our island community, particularly through his role as a baseball coach for many of our local children, including my own. His dedication to coaching extends beyond teaching the fundamentals of the game; he embodies the spirit of teamwork and sportsmanship. I am confident that Justin will bring this same collaborative and respectful attitude to his role on the County Council.
In addition to his coaching, Justin has been an active participant in community planning and development. I have had the opportunity to work alongside him in Orcas Youth Coalition and SIM (Sequential Intercept Model) Pilot Program meetings. His contributions to these discussions are always thoughtful and focused on setting realistic, impactful goals that benefit our youth and families. His proactive approach and clear vision for community improvement have consistently impressed me.
Moreover, Justin’s commitment to the well-being of others is evident in his role as a foster parent. He provides a safe and supportive environment for children in need, demonstrating his deep compassion and dedication to making a positive difference in their lives.
One of the pressing issues facing our community has been the challenges with our ferry system. Justin has been a steadfast advocate, tirelessly working to ensure that our islands’ concerns are heard and addressed. His advocacy is a testament to his dedication and effectiveness as a representative of our community.
For all these reasons, I firmly believe that Justin Paulsen is the ideal candidate for County Council. His track record of leadership, dedication, and advocacy makes him exceptionally well-suited to serve our community. I strongly encourage you to support Justin in the upcoming election.
