The SJI Library is an essential part of our community. Adequate funding for the library is critical. Together with our schools the library is how we give our youth the opportunity to thrive and grow. But young and old face the financial difficulties of affording to live in San Juan County. I find it shocking and embarrassing that the library would be so naïve in their fundraising efforts to exacerbate our housing issues by increasing housing costs. I will vote No on the levy. Please get more creative in your fundraising efforts. Our community abounds with sources of charitable donations. Jay Ibold
