We tend to be biased toward voting yes on tax renewal measures. But voters need to know that our EMS service will be improved by a NO vote. A NO vote will result in EMS re-integration with Fire District #3. In 1994 Fire and EMS split due to a personality conflict, control issues, and apportionment of money between the two services. We need to put this behind us and heal the rift.

Currently, most EMTs operate under Fire District #3. When we vote NO, all EMS service will continue under Fire District #3. Better service, better management, lower administrative costs, and lower taxes, all result from voting NO on the EMS measure. Let’s do this for our community. Heal the rift. Please vote NO on the EMS levy.
