Each day when my sons visit me they share well wishes that remind me how lucky I am to live in such a loving community.

The response to both my son’s letter about my health and living situation and the wonderful May 16 article by Heather Spaulding is truly humbling.

Thank you to each of the generous islanders whose contributions are making it possible to get the assistive care I need at the Village at the Harbour through my health account at Islanders Bank.

It is heartwarming, and I’m very grateful to all who have supported me so I can stay here with my sons, loved ones and friends.

Many thanks to Cynthia Church and Lina Downes for organizing the fundraiser at Dance Workshop 2 on June 30 and July 1, that goes toward my living expenses.
