To start with, because we are living in an environment where powerful public figures enact revenge on people I am hesitant in calling out the San Juan County Sheriff.

But I am very concerned that the Sheriff could use his position to not only taint the Jury pool, but call into question, the justice system of the state of Washington and the county of San Juan, and wonder what his political ideological proclivities might be. Statements like those he made on the attached video seem to be very much in line with something coming from the Constitutional Sheriffs and Peace Officers Association.
