This is the 25th anniversary of Operation Christmas Child with millions of shoeboxes sent to over 160 countries since 1993.

Many thanks to all of you who filled or brought items for the 100 boxes sent from our island as part of that greater project.

Special thanks to the lovely ladies at Kings who collect shoe boxes to be wrapped and the Presbyterian church that served as a collection destination with their Mary Martha Circle doing the organization.

Friday Harbor Freight transported the filled boxes to His Place in Burlington where they were transported for a flight to a collection center, then flown to countries to be distributed in time for Christmas. They have provided this donation for many years.

The boxes will bring so much joy to the lives of those who have so little. Blessings to all of you who so generously participated.
