A service too critical to be compromised; ‘Yes’ for EMS | Letters

I am voting to approve the EMS levy not only for my own and my family’s self interest, but because my friends and our community need them.

Too critical to fail; vote ‘Yes’ for EMS

None of us know the day or hour we will need to call our island’s EMTs for help.

During the 28 years I’ve lived on San Juan Island my immediate family has needed emergency help from San Juan Island EMS. Their response has always been quick, competent and compassionate.

I am voting to approve the EMS levy not only for my own and my family’s self interest, but because my friends and our community need them.

Our EMS is one of the finest and most highly respected emergency response departments in the country. Please vote “yes” for our EMS.
