The Maritime Institute of Technology and Graduate Studies (MITAGS’) West Coast Campus in Seattle, Washington, is pleased to announce a new offering of our Maritime Apprenticeship Program in partnership with Washington State Ferries.

MITAG’s is looking for passionate, motivated individuals who have an interest in working and training aboard the Washington State Ferry system. Benefits of this program include:

NO cost to accepted applicants for the two-year program.

The scholarship is worth over $61,000 in tuition including paid training days onboard Washington State Ferries.

Successfully complete the MITAGS’ program, apply for employment at Washington State Ferries, and follow the Washington State Ferries career pathway to the pilothouse as a licensed deck officer.

Competitive wages: Washington State Ferries licensed deck officers starting pay range $96,408 to $103,292.
