Village at the Harbour hires new director of marketing

Deanna Osborn is the new director of marketing and director of activities at Village at the Harbour assisted living community in Friday Harbor. Osborn has worked with seniors for 19 years. She joined Village at the Harbour in November 2007 as the activity director and resident assistant. She was recently promoted to director of marketing/activities.

Deanna Osborn is the new director of marketing and director of activities at Village at the Harbour assisted living community in Friday Harbor.

Osborn has worked with seniors for 19 years. She joined Village at the Harbour in November 2007 as the activity director and resident assistant. She was recently promoted to director of marketing/activities.

In 2004, she started Relay for Life in Friday Harbor with the American Cancer Society and chaired the event for four years. She continues to be involved with Relay for Life.

As part of her new responsibilities, she will be out in the community promoting Village at the Harbour.

“I always tell people, ‘I have the greatest job in the world. I get to put smiles on faces,’ ” she said. “I truly love working in senior care. So when you see me on the street, ask me about Village at the Harbour.”
