Interior designer Mary Haselow recently opened a new business that one can appropriately say is made in the shade.

In fact, the name of Haselow’s new enterprise is Island Shades, which offers custom window blinds and shades, in addition to her own expertise in customized interior design. Island Shades’ line of products include cellular, roller and solar shades, wood blinds, sheer horizontal and vertical shades, and more.

Haselow, who returned to San Juan Island a year ago to join Island Wholesale Products, where she’s still employed, offers in-home consultation, along with quality products and reasonable pricing.
