The San Juan Island Chamber of Commerce and the Town of Friday Harbor welcomed the new business, Gilligans Island Style E-Bike Rentals, to the community last on May 29 with a ribbon-cutting.

After purchasing a pair of E-Bikes for themselves, Jodie and Doug were hooked! They decided they had to share the experience of riding these awesome Pedal Assist Electric Bikes. Friday Harbor was the perfect place for this new venture!!

Jodie DeNure is the owner, she opened the Business with the help of her husband Doug (aka Gilligan). Married 36 years, they wanted to find something they could do while spending their days together. This has been a great experience for them so far and they are looking forward to a great summer here on the Island!

From Jodie and Doug: “We offer 90 minute, a half-day ”; “three-hour tour” (Gilligan’s favorite) and full-day rentals. These are all self-guided and maps with recommended routes are provided to avoid any castaways. Rentals include helmets and locks. We have two different Models of Rad Powered E-Bikes:

• Step-Through Model-One speed with throttle. User-friendly and fun to ride!

• Cargo Wagon Seven-speed with a throttle. Customizable with child carriers, deck pads and safety bars for kids to ride. Add one of our pet carriers that fit the rear rack to bring Fido. Family-friendly and fun for everyone!
