EDC to offer Project Management Course as part of Trades Training Initiative

The Economic Development Council of San Juan County will offer a Project Management course as part of their Trades Training Initiative. This course is open to participants from San Juan County, ages 18 and over, who plan to use project management skills for paying work in the construction industry.

The upcoming course, taught by the Building Industry Association of Washington, will include tools of Project Managers, the role of a PM during each phase of a project, and managing contractors.

Details: The course will be held Friday, Oct. 18 from 8 a.m.-5 p.m. at the Skagit Valley College San Juan Center in Friday Harbor. The course is free except for a $50 registration fee. Space is limited.
