Submitted by teh Economic Develompent Council

The Economic Development Council of San Juan County will facilitate a Career Workshop for youth as part of their Trades Training Initiative.

The upcoming workshop will challenge high school students to reflect on their personal passions, talents, and dreams and take a closer look at how to develop those into a career path. The format will be an interactive small group, including discussion and a time for questions and answers.

This free workshop is open to participants from San Juan County, ages 14-18, who would like to learn about choosing a career path.

Details: The workshop will be held Wednesday Aug. 7, from 2-4 p.m. in Friday Harbor. The workshop is free, however pre-registration is required, and space is limited. To register for the class or to ask questions, please contact the EDC’s Trades Training Coordinator, Marti McConnell at marti@sanjuansedc.org.
