Regarding the story, “First-time felony offender gets 15 days for vandalism spree,” July 16 Journal, page 16A.

Travis James Webster pleaded guilty to one count of first-degree malicious mischief, but was not charged with other alleged acts of vandalism mentioned in the story.

The allegations were included in “findings of fact” submitted by the Prosecuting Attorney’s office to the court as part of its recommended sentence.

The alleged incidents remain under investigation, according to the Prosecuting Attorney’s office. Webster denies committing those alleged acts.
