Playoffs begin Tuesday for Friday Harbor prep sports.

— The boys soccer team, which finished the regular season 1-2-8 with a 0-0 finish vs. Cavelero on Thursday, will travel to Lynden Christian on Tuesday for a District 1 playoff game. A loss would end their season; if they win, they advance Thursday to Meridian.

— The golf team, which is undefeated and hosts the league championship Thursday, will play May 14 in the District 1 Qualifying event. The boys will be at Homestead Golf Course in Lynden, and the girls will play at North Bellingham. Individuals who qualify at this event will move on to the Tri-District event on May 19, at Eagle Pride in Tacoma.

— The baseball team will play at Blaine’s Pipeline Athletic Complex at noon on Saturday. The Wolverines enter the District 1 tournament as the No. 1 seed. Their opponent is undetermined at this time.

A loss in the noon game would end their season. If they win their first game, they will play again on Saturday to determine the 1 and 2 seeds to the Tri-District Tournament on May 16.

— The softball team will host a play-in game on May 15 vs. Coupeville at 4:45. With a win, the Wolverines would play again on May 16 in the District 1 Tournament at Janicki Fields in Sedro-Woolley.

The game on May 15 start at noon; win or lose, they play again at 2 p.m. Three teams from the May 16 tournament will advance to the Tri-District Tournament the following weekend, May 23 at Janicki Fields again.

A loss in Friday’s play-in game or two losses on Saturday would end their season.

— The boys tennis team will continue play from the fall for those that qualified. The No. 2 doubles team will play in a feeder game on May 18 at Coupeville. A win will advance them to the Quad-District Tournament at the Nordstrom Tennis Center in Seattle on May 22.

The No. 1 singles and No. 1 doubles players have already qualified for the Quad-District Tournament.

— The girls tennis team will play on Saturday at the District Tournament in Friday Harbor. The first- and second-place singles and doubles players will advance to the Tri-District tournament at the Nordstrom Tennis Center in Seattle on May 21.

— The track team will begin their post season at the District 1 meet held at Lynden Christian on May 13 and May 15. Here individuals will be trying to qualify for the Tri-District track meet to be held at King’s High School on May 21 and 23.

Dragons lacrosse going to post-season
The San Juan Dragons, 7-4 in the Skagit Conference after a 10-2 loss to undefeated Mukilteo Saturday, head to the Washington High School Boys Lacrosse Association playoffs this month.

The Dragons finish the regular season at home this Saturday vs. Whatcom (5-4) and with a win will finish in second place in the seven-team conference.

State tournament quarterfinal action for Division I and II gets under way May 21, with semifinals scheduled for May 27. The state championships will take place May 30 at Memorial Stadium, near the Seattle Center.

The 31st Washington Lacrosse Boys State Championships on May 30 begin at noon and 1 p.m. with the 5-6 Regional Honor Game; followed at 2 and 3 p.m. with the Regional All-Star Game; and at 5 p.m. with the Division II Finals.
