Shauna Lenice Lean, a beloved wife, mother, sister, daughter, and Nama, passed away on November 28, 2024, at Providence Hospital in Everett. Born on April 22, 1968, in Bellevue, WA, she was the firstborn of four children to Gordon and Ellen Banry.
Shauna grew up in a bustling household as the eldest of four siblings, a role she embraced with determination and strength. She graduated from Crater High School in Oregon in 1986 and went on to lead a life filled with creativity, compassion, and service. Her roles included homemaker, horse trainer, 4H leader, gardener, caregiver, artist, writer, and dog whisperer.
Her life was marked by challenges and triumphs, including her journey with her beloved blind horse, Jed, and her dedication to her children, Brynn, Tommy, and Clea, as a single mother.
