We are in support of the Library Levy.

The library, in addition to its core activities, offers a space where the diverse collection of artists of all ages and talent levels can engage with the community due to the work of the Library Art Committee. Art provides the opportunity to see the world through the eyes of others – gaining insight. The members of the Art Committee are among the 70 dedicated volunteers supporting the library staff and visitors.

It is rewarding to be part of the efforts to enhance the library experience, celebrate our community, and bring peace and beauty to all the staff and visitors. Our exhibitions cost the island and the library nothing. But, without the funding for core operations, the library, as we know it will not exist.

Please vote “yes” to maintain the continuing services of our wonderful library.
