Don’t be misled.

The vote on Aug. 6 is about funding the current library. It’s NOT about a new building. Since the levy adjustment 12 years ago (carefully managed to last twice as long as planned) inflation has gone up more than 30%. Without this levy adjustment, the library cannot continue to offer the same services—books, subscriptions, programs, technology, hours of operation, etc.—that it has today. Every year without a levy adjustment will mean more cuts to the library services that islanders use. Please join me and Vote Yes!
