Betty Makoni will present a workshop to girls, ages 14-21 to cultivate self-confidence and leadership skills on Saturday, Sept. 24, TBA at Spring Street International School.

Makoni is the founder and director of Girl Child Network Worldwide and was named the 2009 CNN Hero for her powerful work with young girls survivors of violence in her native country Zimbabwe.

The workshop is $30, which is donated to the Girl Child Network Worldwide.
