SAFE San Juans, the San Juan County Sheriff’s Office, and the San Juan County Prosecuting Attorney’s Office will be holding a planning meeting on Sept. 14 to solicit input on the following questions and/or concerns from the community:
1. Emerging or ongoing issues in cases of domestic violence, sexual assault, dating violence, and stalking.
2. Community priorities for these issues in the year ahead.
3. Reducing or reducing the risk of domestic violence homicides.
4. Community concerns related to the three agencies, services, activities, priorities, or issues that were discussed.
The purpose of the session is to allow interested parties an opportunity to give input regarding services from the above agencies in San Juan County.
The meeting will be held from noon to 1 p.m. via Zoom. If you are interested in participating, email dave@safesj.org and request a Zoom invite. More details will be provided with the invite.
