San Juan County’s Ferry Advisory Committee announced two outreach sessions this October. On Saturday, Oct. 15 and Tuesday, Oct. 18, the FAC will review its advocacy efforts, answer questions from the public, and engage in open discussions related to ferry service.
Why Should I Attend the Meetings?
“In the last one to two years, there have been major programs put in place to address this decades-old problem,” said Jim Corenman, FAC Co-Chair. “It will take time, and we’d like people to understand what is being done, what needs to be done, and how they can help.”
Sessions will be held via Zoom. Use the link and information below to attend both meetings:
Saturday, Oct. 15 starting at 9 a.m.
Tuesday, Oct. 18 starting at 6 p.m.

What is the FAC?
The Ferry Advisory Committee provides studies and recommends resolutions in ferry transportation matters that affect the San Juan Islands. The board consists of seven members serving four-year terms. Members include representatives from each of the ferry-served islands, established ferry-user groups, commercial users, and a member from the County Council, Christine Minney.
