Dollars for Scholars scholarship fund is again partnering with local restaurants and cafes for lunches and dinners throughout the entire month of February. The restaurants set aside a portion of their profits on their designated day and evening as a donation to our scholarship fund.

Dollars for Scholars San Juan Island provides scholarships to graduating seniors who have completed a minimum of 80 hours of volunteer community service during their high school career. In 2011, thirteen graduating seniors received scholarships and over the past 10 years, DFS-SJI has awarded over $150,000 in scholarships.

Feb. 9

Ko’s Subs – lunch, Downriggers – lunch and dinner, Banry Café – dinner, and The Bluff at Friday Harbor House – dinner

Feb. 23

Bakery San Juan – lunch, MiCasita – dinner, and Coho Restaurant – dinner.

Feb. 29

Market Chef – lunch, Rumor Mill – dinner, and Haley’s Bait Shop – dinner.
