Preview of new preserve in next installment of award winning ‘walk’ series

Join Kathleen Foley of San Juan Preservation Trust and Tanja Williamson of San Juan County Land Bank for the next installment of the award winning walk series, Know Your Island Walks. Foley and Willamson will lead the walk around the soon-to-be Mount Grant Preserve, formerly known as Lawson Ridge, March 28, at 1 p.m.

The area has been undertaken by the Land Bank and Preservation Trust for future public use and walk attendees will get an exclusive behind the scenes look at this new acquisition.

The terrain is on old paved road and unfinished path, with significant up and downhill. The rating is moderate to difficult.
