From Sao Paulo, to Melbourne, Australia, to Seattle, Sonia Sousa has found her home in Friday Harbor. Specializing in hair coloring, cuts, wedding design, Brazilian blowouts and skin care, Sousa honed her love for cosmetology in her native Brazil where she owned and operated her own salon 17 years.
She now lives in Friday Harbor with her husband Chris, a Peace Island Medical Center registered nurse.
Working in cosmopolitan Sao Paulo, as well as other major cities in Brazil and Australia, Sousa’s people and technical skills and broad product knowledge earned her a loyal following. Some clients even flew back for her services after moving hours away.
A creative mind for style, Sousa is a thoughtful, caring, professional person dedicated to satisfying clients with amazing results. Her many satisfied customers include men as well as women, particularly brides, mothers of brides and mothers of grooms.
Sousa has design skills and a good eye for color.
