San Juan County Department of Emergency Management and the Friends of the Lopez Island Library are hosting a disaster preparedness forum on Thursday, May 10, from 6-8 p.m. at the Lopez Island Community Center.

Local experts and residents will give short talks about an array of disaster preparedness topics, followed by a Q&A and group discussion.
